Account Management (Using the Client Portal)

The Client Portal allows clients to quickly and easily manage their hosting account and utilize the support system - all from a single location. This article describes the system's key features and also provides an overview of the various tools that you can use to find your way around the system quickly and easily.

Navigating the Client Portal

The Client Portal provides a user-friendly interface, along with some handy navigation features.

After logging in to the Client Portal, you will see a “snapshot” of your account, which shows information such as general account details, any support tickets for your account, billing information, and bandwidth data for your service(s).

Within each of the information boxes, links are available for you to quickly navigate to the specific area that you want to view. For example, the Base Information box provides the Change Password link; clicking on this link will redirect to the Change Password page.

Refer to the following example screen for additional information about the available navigation features.

A — The main menu bar provides quick access to all key areas of the Client Portal. Also, at the top of the main menu is a Menu Search box, which you can use to quickly jump to a specific area of the system by typing the first few letters of the first few letters of the system area that you want to jump to. A list of possible options will be presented just beneath the box (refer to the following example screen). Click on the desired option.

B — The Search box allows you to search for information about your account by keyword.
To use the Search feature, enter a keyword in the Search box and then press Enter. The page displays the results, organized by category.

C — An Action menu is available on all pages, which provides shortcuts for viewing certain information or doing certain things, based on the page that you are currently viewing. For example, from the Account Overview page, the Actions menu provides options to change your password, and to log out.
