How to Install Mambo
- This article should describe the process of installing the Mambo CMS platform using SimpleScript.
Step 1: Login to Siteworx and Access SimpleScript
First login to your Siteworx account and select the "SimpleScript" option under the "Hosting Features" section of the left Siteworx Menu. Clicking this option will direct you to SimpleScript.
Step 2: Locate and Select Xoops in SimpleScript
To install Mambo, locate the Mambo option under the Content Management System section of the SimpleScript Script Listing.
Step 3: Begin Install
Upon clicking the Mambo option you will be presented with a Mambo information page, providing details and screenshots of Mambo. To proceed with the installation, select the "Install" button under the Installation Options section at the bottom of the page.
Step 4: Installation Options
The Installation Options screen is divided into three steps.
Step 1 The first step is to select the version of Mambo you wish to install. In this article, we chose to install the latest version, 4.6.5.
Next, you will need to choose where you would like SimpleScripts to be installed. The installation location will be based upon the website address where you wish to access this application. In this case we decided to access Mambo at http://nexcess.net/mambo
Step 2 Under the section named "Step 2: Advanced Options" you are able to optionally select several advanced options. The first allows the ability to add an administrator's email instead of using the default. The second allows for the ability to enter an administrator's username and password or allow SimpleScripts to generate a random password for you. The third option in this section will automatically create a new database. Be sure to select this last option.
Step 3 The third and final step on this page is to review the GPL License Agreement and select the checkbox to the right if you accept the agreement.

Step 4: Automatic Installation
Upon clicking the Complete button on the last webpage, SimpleScripts will automatically install Xoops and provide you details during the installation:
Step 5: Installation Complete
Once SimpleScripts finishes installing Mambo, it will email the install details to your email adddress and display those install details on the next webpage. You have now successfully installed Mambo using SimpleScripts!
