Adding a New FTP Account

This article provides instructions on using your SiteWorx account to add a new FTP account to your domain. ¹⁾

• An existing SiteWorx account.

• Check your account to verify that it has not reached its number of allowable FTP accounts. (If you attempt to add a FTP account after you have already reached your limit, you will receive an error message.)

1. On the SiteWorx menu, click Hosting Features > FTP.
2. Enter the desired username in the FTP Username box.
3. Enter, and re-enter to confirm, the desired password in the Password and Confirm Password boxes.
4. By default, your root directory displays in the Home Directory field box. To select a specific directory, click anywhere in the field box. This launches the Select Directory window.
   
5. Expand each directory (if needed) by clicking on the +, and then click on the desired directory.
6. Click OK.
7. Click the Add button to finish adding the FTP account.
