How to add secondary users to your SiteWorx account

This article details how to add a secondary user to your SiteWorx account.; you must be the primary user to add secondary users.


Secondary users cannot change the permissions for their account.

Refer to How to delete secondary users from your SiteWorx account and How to edit settings for a secondary user SiteWorx account as necessary.


Specify login info and preferences

  1. Log in to your SiteWorx account.
    • If you do not know your password, click Forgot your password on the login page.
    • If you do not know the web address for your SiteWorx login page, either refer to your Welcome Email or contact our 24-hour Support Team for assistance.
  2. On the main menu, click Administration > User Accounts (Figure 1).

  3. Click Add SiteWorx User (Figure 2).

  4. Specify the user's login information and preferences as indicated below. New users may adjust these settings after verifying their account:
    1. Nickname: Enter the user's name.
    2. Email: Enter the user's email address. This email address will be required in order for the user to log in to SiteWorx.
    3. Password: Assign a password, or click Generate to have the system generate one for you.
    4. Confirm Password: If you did not generate a password, you must re-enter the one that you specified in the "Password" field.
    5. Language: Select the user's preferred language.
    6. Menu Style: Select the desired menu style. 
      • The default Small menu style uses smaller icons and the navigation menu is in view on every page throughout the system.
      • The Big menu style uses large icons and a centralized menu rather than carrying the menu from page to page on the left side. 

Specify permissions

Select the check boxes corresponding to the appropriate user permissions  and click Save (Figure 3).
