How to change your Client Portal password

This article explains how Nexcess clients can retrieve and change their Client Portal password.

Retrieving a lost password

  1. Navigate to the Client Portal login page.

  2. In the Username field, type your user name, then click Forgot Password? The user name is usually the email address associated with your Nexcess account.

  1. The system will send additional instructions and a link to reset your password to the your email account. The link will only be active for 10 minutes. If it expires, restart this procedure.

  2. If you require further assistance, contact our Support Team.

Changing a password

  1. Log in to the Client Portal.

  2. From the dashboard, select the drop-down list showing <Your Name>, then click Change Password.

  1. In the Current Password field, enter your old password. In the New Password and Password Again fields, enter your chosen password; these fields must match. If you require assistance generating a secure password, use the Nexcess Secure Password Generator.
