How to configure WordPress plug-ins

These instructions can be used to install any of the available WordPress plug-ins.


  1. Log in to your WordPress account.
  2. From the WordPress main menu, select Plugins > Add New. 
  3. The Install Plug-ins window will now show a variety of methods to find the plug-in that you want to install.
  4. Type the name of the plug-in in the Search field and click Search Plugins.
  5. Beneath the name of the plug-in, click Install Now.
  6. When prompted for confirmation, click OK to begin the installation.
  7. After installation is complete, "Successfully installed the plugin …" will appear. Click Activate Plugin to refresh the page and see the active plug-in. 
  8. To modify its settings, click Settings beneath the plug-in name.
