How to enable Elasticsearch for your Nexcess Cloud account

What you need

Enabling Elasticsearch

  1. Log in to your Client Portal. From the home page, click Services > Cloud Accounts.


  2. Either click the name of your Magento 2 service, or select Account Dashboard from the menu toggle.


  3. From the dashboard, select Menu > Environment.


  4. Click the Elasticsearch toggle. Note the Endpoint and Port, which you will need to configure your store to use Elasticsearch.CO

Configuring Magento 2 to use Elasticsearch

Follow Steps 1-3 in How to configure Magento 2 to use Elasticsearch. You will enter the Endpoint and Port in Step 1D of that procedure. Note that you may click on the Endpoint and Port information to copy either to your clipboard.

Disabling Elasticsearch for Magento 2

If you have already configured your store to use Elasticsearch as directed in How to configure Magento 2 to use Elasticsearch, we strongly recommend reverting to MySQL as directed in that same document before disabling Elasticsearch from your Client Portal.
