How to view and edit your account PIN

Overview
This article explains how Nexcess clients can use the Client Portal to view or edit their PIN.

Prerequisites

You need your Client Portal username and password. These were originally provided in the Nexcess Welcome Email, though you may have since changed them. If you cannot locate this information, click the Reset Password link on the Client Portal login menu or contact the Nexcess Support Team.

Procedure

As an added security measure, all Nexcess accounts are assigned with a personal identification number (PIN). For your protection, you are required to provide this PIN whenever you call the Billing or Support Teams about your account.

  1. Log in to the Client Portal.

  2. To view your PIN, locate the Call In PIN section and click Show.

  1. To edit your PIN, click the orange edit icon.

  2. Enter your new six-digit PIN, then click Submit.
